Write "What's new in Pingory" for August 2026, Pingory's monthly product digest, sent to workspace members who subscribed to Pingory product news.
Engineering shipped the items below. Lead with what matters most to readers, decide the rest of the editorial order yourself, give full sections only to the stories that earn them, and collapse the small stuff into a brief list. Give the lead story the email's one primary button. Recaps leaving beta is the lead story; the reminder time zone fix, the emoji picker speedup, and the keyboard shortcut panel are maintenance notes for the brief list, and the admin-only CSV export should not outrank any member-facing item.
- Fixed reminder timestamps so they follow the workspace time zone instead of UTC.
- Canvas templates: a gallery of 40+ starter layouts for briefs, standups, retros, and project kickoffs, available from the template picker in the canvas toolbar. Docs: https://pingory.s3.amazonaws.com/help/articles/canvas-templates
- The emoji picker opens about 3x faster in workspaces with more than 5,000 custom emoji.
- Scheduled messages now work in the Pingory mobile apps on iOS and Android, matching desktop. Docs: https://pingory.s3.amazonaws.com/help/articles/scheduled-messages
- Recaps writes an AI summary of the rooms and threads you missed while you were away. It is out of beta and available on all paid plans. Docs: https://pingory.s3.amazonaws.com/help/articles/recaps
- Admins can export workspace analytics as CSV from the admin console.
- Guest passes: invite someone outside your company into a single room for 30 days without a paid seat, available on the Pro plan. Docs: https://pingory.s3.amazonaws.com/help/articles/guest-passes
- Notification schedules: quiet hours that apply across every device, set once from your account. Docs: https://pingory.s3.amazonaws.com/help/articles/notification-schedules
- Cmd+/ (Ctrl+/ on Windows) now opens a searchable keyboard shortcut panel. Docs: https://pingory.s3.amazonaws.com/help/articles/keyboard-shortcuts
